No Diagnosis Yet
An update, a poem, and a few other shares...

Hello Friends,
How are you all holding up? We are doing okay over here in our little corner of the world. There is way too much going on, but I am just focusing on the day to day of family and life, and believe me, that is more than enough.
I just wanted to jump on here and say hello and share that I did finally get in to see a rheumatologist, Dr. Williams, in Montrose. He spent nearly an hour with me and took his time listening very intently to my whole story and health journey to date. He is kind, and funny and is going to look at everything before we even venture toward a diagnosis. He did say, however, that in the 30 years that he has been a Rheumatologist, that he has only ever had 3 patients with Relapsing Poloychondritis, so he thinks that it is highly unlikely that I have that. I have to say, hearing that gave me some relief as everything I have read on RP is not good. So send a little blessing out that whatever it is that I have been living with is curable. Thank you.
In other news, starting next week, I will start teaching 4 in-person classes in town at the the Sanctuary Somatics studio. And I am offering two Zoom classes per week starting this Thursday. Please let me know if you want to join me on Zoom and I will send you the link.
Zoom: Sunday Morning Basics- 8:30-10am MST
Thursday Evening Wind Down-Gentle movement + Restorative)- 4-5pm MST
Something else I would like to share, in case you are not already aware of this, is that there are some great writers and reporters here on Substack and I am loving it! And there are NO ADS!
For good news I recommend:
- Dan Rather’s Substack- Steady
-Heather Cox Richardson’s Substack- Letters From an American
-The Jim Acosta Show
I also love:
Sulieka Jaouad- The Isolation Journals
Elizabeth Gilbert - Letters from Love
I don’t have much else to say or share. I am just making sure that I take time each week to write and share something good with you all. There’s enough bad news and information out there to last an eternity. So instead, I will share whatever is inspiring me and helping me stay grounded and clear.
This week I would like to share the audio version of Professor Douglas Brooks recent Substack share. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
Here’s the link:
And in closing, I will leave you with a moment to pause and listen. I like to call this the Poetry Pause. Please enjoy, and please keep in touch.
Big Love,
Marcia

I too follow your Substack list and am enjoying the writing and thinking and vulnerability. Prayers for some clarity to your ongoing health challenges. ❤️
